PARADE OF TITLEHOLDERS: (Saturday only)

Open to any Giant Schnauzer with an AKC title. Each entrant is asked to submit a brief resume of the dog, no more than 50 words, with the entry, which will be published in the catalog. A commemorative rosette will be awarded to each entry. You must contact Becky Heubi at rheubi@aol.com by September 7 with owner info, name of dog and title information to receive a Rosette. Any entries after this date will not receive a Rosette. The Parade will be held following judging on Saturday. Entry fee is $25. Indicate entry in the Additional Classes box on the entry form.

Annual Awards Banquet

The Giant Schnauzer Club of America, Inc. will be hosting our Annual Awards Banquet during the 2022 GSCA National Specialty at Purina Farms. This event is open to all breed fanciers and their guests and is not limited to GSCA members. The cost of the dinner is $40 per person, and there will be a cash bar. The buffet dinner menu will include:

Harvest Garden Salad: mixed greens, grape tomatoes, English cucumbers, garlic croutons, shaved parmesan, and red vine vinaigrette

Chicken Involtini: Bacon wrapped breast of chicken with fresh mozzarella, spinach, roasted tomatoes and caramelized onion or

Roman Style Pork Tenderloin: Marinated pork tenderloin rolled in toasted bread crumbs served with lemon infused olive oil and fresh Italian parsley. 

Roasted Potato Medley: Tri Colored Potatoes with Brown Butter

Haricot verts: sautéed petit green beans with sea salt and cracked black pepper

New York style cheese cake: no description needed😊.

All reservations must be received by October 1, 2022. After registering, you will receive a PayPal invoice via email from GSCA. Your banquet ticket(s) will not be issued until the invoice is paid.

Giant Schnauzer 101- Seminar

GSCA will be hosting an educational seminar for giant schnauzer fanciers from 3-5 pm on Friday October 14th during the 2022 GSCA National Specialty at Purina Farms. The agenda will include a short history of our breed, the club, and the evolution of the breed standard. The main topic will be the classroom portion of judge's education presented by Robin Henderson. This seminar is open to anyone interested in learning more about giants and is not limited to GSCA members. Registration fee of $10 to cover cost of handout materials. The specific Building/Room will be announced later.

All registrations must be received by October 7, 2022.After registering, you will receive a PayPal invoice via email from GSCA. If there is more than one person in your group, please register each individual separately so we can maintain a list of participants. (We can combine them into a single invoice if you let us know who to include.)

RV Overnight Parking

Reservations for RV parking at the show grounds is handled directly by Purina Event Center Staff.  A reservation form, with instructions for completing, submitting, and paying, can be downloaded from the GSCA 2022 National Webpage at this link: Purina RV Reservation Form Limited RV Day parking is free and available on a First-Come Basis while space is available. Parking is in spaces designated by Purina Security on arrival.
