Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is comprised of the officers and four regional directors (and past president during the first term of a new president). Their responsibilities are described in the GSCA Constitution and Bylaws.
A set of Board Administrative Guidelines documents the practices of the Board as well as decisions made in regards to specific interpretations of the Constitution and Bylaws.
These guidelines are intended to ensure consistency over time regardless of the individuals serving as officers and directors. Unlike the GSCA Standing Rules which may only be updated by a vote of membership,
these guidelines are owned and maintained solely by the Board. Adherence is required, but they can be modified through a majority vote of the Board if necessary to best and most effectively conduct club business.
Under no circumstances may these guidelines supersede the intended requirements of the Constitution and Bylaws or the Standing Rules.
