12:30 pm- Lunch with pre ordered box lunches

Conclusion of National Specialty Week: For those staying thru Wednesday night, an after show site cleanup will begin (volunteers requested) A Pasta Party will be held after at the home of Bear Creek Giant Schnauzers (Vicki Kallett). Located only 2 miles from the show site.


DONATIONS & TROPHY SPONSORSHIPS- The Giant Schnauzer Club of America appreciates all donations and trophy sponsorships. Your continued support is the key to the 2020 National Specialtys success. Sponsorship of a specific trophy guarantees the donor an exclusive sponsorship of that class including the dedication of their choice. To assure availability of a specific trophy contact Brenda Cejka at or 281.356.3378. All Individual sponsorships will be commemorated with a dedication of choice in the Show Catalog if provided to Brenda by September 6, 2020. You will receive an invoice for your sponsorships with information to pay with your credit card at the 2020 National Store or you may mail a check to Brenda. Funds to be used for general show expenses as well as trophies.

PARADE OF TITLEHOLDERS - Open to Giant Schnauzers with an AKC title to follow Breed judging. Indicate Parade of Title Holder/Giant Schnauzer on the entry form. Entry Fee is $25. A SAR and Scent Work Seminar will be presented by Andrea Fergerson, Sharon Burns, and Natalie Duberow on Monday, October 26- time to be determined. Learn about getting started in SAR and AKC Scent Work! Suitable for beginners to experienced teams. Sharon will discuss Search and Rescue, Natalie will conduct an introduction to odor for participants, and Andrea will introduce handlers to the rules and regulations of competitive AKC Scent Work. Preregistration is required for working spots, audit spots are unlimited.

Other hotels in the area close to show site Quality Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and the Hampton Inn (this hotel does not accept dogs).

GROOMING- Reserved grooming with shared electric is available in the 40 x 200 open air pavilion adjacent to the ring. Concrete floor, overhead lights, ceiling fans. Dryers allowed. Dog bathing facilities available. Return the Grooming Reservation form available in the Premium List by October 7 . Exhibitors required to clean their area daily.

RV SITES - 250 spaces available with 30 or 50 amp power, water and dump station. Return the RV Reservation form available in the Premium List by October 7. First come/first serve site assignment.. RV check in open 12 noon, Sunday, October 25 . All RVs and equipment must be removed by 12 noon Thursday 10/29. Absolutely no dumping of gray or black water tanks on the field  only in RV dump station.

Note to Exhibitors: the week starting Saturday October 24 offers 7 chances for All-Breed Conformation shows: 10/24-25 in Plant City Florida (one hour south of Brooksville) then the National and Regional in Brooksville with obedience and rally, then 10/30-11/2 three all-breeds in Ocala Florida (one hour north of Brooksville) followed by two weeks of shows. 11 shows in 15 days in Ocala following the National.

Both all-breed sites offer camping on site and have hotels nearby.
