Three years ago one of our clients moved to CA with their dog, Harley (purebred GT. SCHZR.). Harley ended up nipping at someone that startled him and they were forced to remove him from the situation until they settled. They chose to send him back to us and we would care for him until they could get settled. Harley is a pet quality, neutered male and is well-mannered. He isn’t fond of other dogs, but more afraid of them than anything. He prefers little dogs to big dogs. Big dogs intimidate him. We have never had a problem with him with people. He has been tended to by our staff and loves affection. At this point I feel like we have done every possible to be responsible for Harley with his old owners, but it is time for him to move on and find a better life. That is the fair thing for him.
Can you help us find him a home? If it were a local home, we would even offer grooming free for life with him because we know him and love him. I would like to find him in a home situation within the next month, but am not willing to have him go to someone that has not been properly screened.

My family owns a boarding and grooming kennel in Charlottesville, VA. I have had two male Giants in previous years and without a dog for about 7. I just got back from picking up a 2 year old male based on a respose to my ad on this site.
I am retired and live on the outer banks of NC (Hatteras). I will at least consider owning a second one,in some ways it would actually allow them to entertain themselves sometimes.
Do you have pictures of your pup? What kennel did he come from? Is he trained at all? House broken? nuetered? Cropped and docked?
You can get to me direct for pictures and whatever at randallcullinan@yahoo.com.
thanx

I lost my job and am having financial difficulties. Thus I am unable to afford my Giant Schnauzer Puppy. His name is "Elijah." His birthday is 6/2011. He is 7 months old. He is neutered and current on all of his vaccines. I am located in North Canton, Ohio. 44720. My number is 941-993-5690. If you are interested or know of anyone that is please contact me ASAP. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me. Carmin

1/29/12

I lost my job and am having financial difficulties. We placed the last rescue to a great home in NY, her rescued Giant passed away about 3 years ago and she misses him terribly. We have a 60 acre farm in Nolensville, TN 20 minutes from Nashville. If there is anyone looking to place a healthy Giant please let me know.

I have previously owned 2 show quality males when I had a full family. I don't have the spendable income I used to have but miss very much not having a best friend to spend full time with me, day and night. The beach is 5 minutes away and wide open for running and training.
I am a natural dog trainer and look forward to trying to stay ahead of the smartest breed there is.

We got him as a rescue when he was 1 year old and would like to offer our love again.
Thank you!

One was from Van silberwald Kennels in New York & one from N.H One lived to almost 14 & the last almost 13. I had to put the last down Aug. 30. I would like to give a giant a good home, but younger is better. Its hard looseing them. I live in the middle of 145 acres in lower MI. I train them well & the health is cared for as my kids & now grandkids. Suzanne

I have owned 2 Giants.
