I am looking at this breed for a companion and possibly tracking dog. My wife, 13 year old daughter and I live in a rural setting on ten acres, one of which is chain link fenced,15 miles north of Spokane, WA. We are active outdoors and include our pet in most everything. We are experienced animal owners; having owned Dobermans in the past (they are a bit shivery for this climate) and my wife is a veterinarian. We lost our 14 year old dog this last winter. I am interested in breeders in the northwest and we are willing to travel to see pups and breeding pairs. We are interested in a bold but not aggressive pet quality pup with OFA hip/elbow ( or Penn Hip), CERF, Thyroid tested genetics. Stable temperament and longevity highly valued.
Thanks, Alan Maddox

Hello,

I am looking at this breed for a companion and possibly tracking dog.
